In 1930 this particular tractor set a new world record for a non-stop tractor endurance run - it worked for 481 hours and 5 minutes, covering a distance of 1011 miles and operated by two men working alternate 8-hour shifts. The record attempt took place at the agricultural engineering department of Oregon State College, and the tractor is now preserved at the Antique Caterpillar Machinery Museum, Brooks, Oregon.
