The Garner tractor is in some way connected with an identical machine built in the USA by the William Galloway Co. of Waterloo, Iowa. The "Garner" name comes from Henry Garner Ltd. of the Moseley Motor Works in Birmingham, but whether Garner actually designed the tractor to be produced by Galloway, built the Galloway under license or merely sold it in the UK under a different name is not fully clear.
